One of the most anticipated RPGs game, “For Honor” was finally released last February and is Ubisoft’s newest action game set in a medieval fantasy setting. Its main attraction is the historical soldiers you can use as your characters.

For Honor introduces three factions: The Knights (The Legion), The Samurai (The Chosen), and The Vikings (The Warborn). Each of these factions has four heroes, and what makes it all interesting is even though its concept seems to boasts of masculinity and strength, it has three female gender locked heroes.

The Peacekeepers

The Peacekeepers are quick and lethal assassins which can win a fight even before their enemy notices they’re there. This is what earned them the title of the Silent Blade, the Keeper of the Peace. They are an instrument of death, the dancers of death that wield dual blades that can turn the tides of war. They are selected from the humble, the devoted, and the desperate.

These knights don’t fight for glory. And whatever they know could either destroy legends or create them.

Unlike other knights, the Peacekeepers wear light leather so they can quickly move around. They also wear a cage visor and a brown hood to hide their faces and conceal their identity. Their weapons are a dagger and a sword allowing her to maneuver deadly counter-attacking ability.

The Nobushi

The Nobushis are the defenders of the villages far from the Imperial City for the Samurais to protect. They are elegant aggressive fighters that wield the most exotic of weapons: the Naginata, a blade pole weapon used by female warriors known as onna-bugeisha. They also wear the lightest armor to allow them to move like the wind but also mean they cannot take a lot of damage. However, don’t let their appearance fool you because the Nobushi are the most effective fighters you will meet on the battlefield.

Similar to the Peacekeepers, they wear a mouthless Noh mask and jingasa hat to keep their identity a secret. With their lithe movement and an aggressive take in battle, they keep the lands safe from anyone who dares to enter and mean harm.

The Valkyries

The Valkyries are warriors who made a deal with the gods. They fight to earn glory so that those who can’t fight will be counted in the halls of Valhalla. They are known to be effective scouts and trackers who use their spears and shields to their advantage. Many fear them and those who step into the battlefield can only hope never to encounter one of them.

The Valkyries wear leather armor with sturdy metal plates to protect them from attacks. They are also known for their remarkable helmet with a full face plate and ram horns. Skulls of rams are also attached to their gauntlets.
