Video games is a great source of fun and entertainment for us. Everyone loves them. And when I say everyone, I mean even celebrities and successful businessmen. That’s why today, we’re going to name a few famous people who just can’t deny their love for gaming.
Let’s check them out:
The famous Father of Facebook actually took an interest in coding because of the video games he used to play as a child. In interviews, he usually gives credits to video games for inspiring him to code and build programs. One of his favorite games is Sid Meier’s Civilization. He even mentioned it on his Facebook that it is his favorite strategy game, and was one of the reasons why he loves engineering. In fact, when Civilization VI was released, he shared a picture of him playing it on his official Facebook account.
Mila Kunis has the ideal girl-next-door image. And you would love her even more if you knew that she is actually a big fan of MMO game, World of Warcraft. In fact, Mila was so obsessed with the WoW that it consumed most of her time, and that Mila has no choice but to force herself to stop playing it. After playing WoW, she chose Call of Duty as her rebound game. But aside from being a gamer, Mila also happens to be a voice actor and played the role of Tanya in Saints Row.
We all know Elon Musk as one of the founders of PayPal and the CEO of Tesla Motors. But most of all, space enthusiasts know him as the CEO and Chief Technical Officer of the SpaceX Corporation whose goal is to enable the colonization of Mars. So it might not be a surprise if I told you that he is actually a fan of the Kerbal Space Program. Aside from that, he also plays Overwatch and WarCraft. When asked what video games series are his favorite, he mentioned Bethesda’s Fallout and Bioware’s Mass Effect. In fact, his friend Larry Page reveals that he sometimes go to Elon’s place with his gaming laptop to play with him.
The 18th time All-Star player Kobe Bryant has retired from playing basketball. And with so much free time, we could only imagine him spending some of it playing his favorite first-person shooting game, Call of Duty. He loved the game so much that he agreed to do a cameo for CoD’s commercial in 2010. He might have been on tons of video game covers but for the Kobe, no video game can defeat the Call of Duty series, and we couldn’t do anything but agree.
We all love The Fast and The Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez for her bad-ass portrayal of Letty. And one could definitely agree with that upon seeing the success of the franchise latest movie, The Fate of the Furious. But did you know that she is also a gamer? In an interview, Michelle admitted that she grew up playing video games such as Doom. When asked what’s her favorite video game, well, similar to Mila Kunis, she is in love with the Call of Duty series.
