Video games that are based on movies aren’t really that well-received by gamers because of one reason or another, like the stories just don’t add up and the gameplay being less than desired. However, every now and then, a gem does come out that is fun and entertaining while still retaining the central theme of the movie it was based on.

So if you’re planning to play a game that’s based on popular movie franchises, here are the titles you should try on the best gaming laptops from Sager Notebook:

The Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, prominently featured the titular character from the movies played by Vin Diesel, a brutal and uncompromising anti-hero. The game gave you free reign to act however you pleased. The game can portray such black and white morality such as killed or be killed which is what the character from the movie stood for.

Regarding gameplay, the combat and stealth features in the game are especially good. That system would eventually be used in the Batman: Arkham series.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

One of BioWare’s most endearing titles, KOTOR was a game that tried to capture the very essence of the Star Wars universe. The game is filled with game-altering decisions that affect whether you affiliate with the Dark or Light side of the force, scrappy romances, space combat, and the memorable characters that make Star Wars such a winning franchise.

There have been a lot of video games that bear the title Alien v. Predator over the years, but the 1999 game is the one that always stands out. The game is intense from start to finish, stalking dark corridors to hunt prey and brutal combat that can happen at any given moment. While the plot of the game is relatively light, it makes up for it with the gameplay.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

There’s a difference from being based on the classic LOTR novels from Tolkien and the movies made by Peter Jackson. The difference lies in the styles that the novels and movies are executed. The former is long and filled with quasi-historical tidbits of fact while the latter is filled with fast-paced action. That is why Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is on this list.

In the game, you’ll be faced with countless enemies in long battle sequences and pitched combat, just like in the movies. If you’re a fan of the movies, this a title you’d definitely enjoy.

Blade Runner

Blade Runner is one of the best sci-fi movies ever made, a testament to Ridley Scott’s directorial skills. It’s definitely on the list of movies you need to watch before you die. Now to the game that’s based on it. The Blade Runner game had the visual elements of the film, so elements of danger and futurism were all in there. The cyberpunk scenery in this adventure game is enough to make you feel like Sam Deckard himself (though maybe not a replicant).

Play these titles on the 15 inch gaming laptops from Sager Notebook and enjoy those movies again through the game!
