The supernatural isn’t something new to The Sims. In fact, EA released an expansion pack for Sims 3 called The Sims 3: Supernatural where players can create supernatural sims like wizards, witches, zombies, vampires, werewolves, fairies, ghosts, and even genies. And this 2017, EA is bringing back the vampires in its newest game, Sims 4.
The Sims 4 Vampire Game Pack was released last January 24, 2017, and with it comes a new opportunity for fans to explore a new and unique storytelling with a big dose of oddities. According to its developers, the Vampires will have their own particular motives and needs. Unlike other sims, these supernatural Sims will focus more on gaining Plasma, Powers, and sleep.
First, let’s talk about Plasma. Instead of food, the Plasma is what will sustain your vampire Sim. It can come in different varieties. One way to gain it is through purchasing Plasma Packs or by growing Plasma fruits. However, if you want your sims to become a real vampire, then why don’t you try sneaking up on unsuspecting Sims and sleep drain Plasma from them. Or if you want to be the goody-type, you can always ask other sims for their plasma.
In this game, your vampire sims also have Powers. You can use these Powers to turn other sims into vampires or move around in different forms including transforming into a bat. Through the course of the game, gaining both powers and weaknesses will affect the story of your vampire Sim, and how you play the character.
Vampire Sims will have two forms: regular and dark. When your vampire Sim has both, the Sim can spin into the Dark form and perform actions. Oh, and your vampire Sim should remember never to step out in daylight or else they might turn into ashes.
The Vampire Game Pack will have a new bunch of Create a Sim options. Now, you can give your vampire sims glowing eyes or creepy eye sockets. They can also have new washed out skin tones similar to those pale skin of Nosferatu. Aside from these new features, you can also create a whole family of vampires. Sims can be born as vampires, although their powers won’t show until they age up in Teenagers. Their aging will stop as soon as they reached their Young Adult stage.
The new residential world of Forgotten Hollows will also be introduced in the game, a dark mist colored land that is the perfect place for vampires to interact and socialize with other vampires and regular sims.
The Sims 4: Vampires marks the return of the bloodthirsty creatures and their immortal life state. The game is compatible with Microsoft Windows PCs and gaming laptop. To know more about it, you can visit The Sims Official Website at www.thesims.com.
